What’s on your list this summer? I hope you’ll share in the Comments section below.

I’m looking forward to catching up on literary journals and reading some books about China to prepare for our trip next winter.

Planning to read for Summer 2011:

"Kafka on the Shore" by Jaruki Murakami (with you!)

"The Weird Sisters" by Eleanor Brown

"The Grapes of Wrath" by John Steinbeck

"Arrow of G-d" by Chinua Achebe (same author as "Things Fall Apart")

"Dirk Gently's Dectective Agency" by Douglas Adams (same author as "Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy")

"Hunger Games"

"Winter Garden" by Kritin Hannah"

"The Book Thief"

Yup.. that should probably do it for the summer... but maybe a few more squeezed in!! =)

Thanks to poet Hila Ratzabi for sharing this recommendation on the FB Writing Coach page:

I just finished The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot-- earth shattering. Please read it if you haven't yet! I'd love to discuss. ;)
