Writing & Thinking about Taste

The five senses can help you interrogate your words when your descriptions seem dull (for example, you can ask yourself what something sounds like when sliced or dropped or what something tastes feels like on a cold or warm day.) I recently offered a generative, creative writing workshop at Georgetown University. Since we were meeting during lunch, I couldn't help but focus on taste.
